Introduction

Mexico and countries across Central American have great potential to grow their biofuels industries as governments recognize the opportunity as a chance to stimulate economic growth in rural areas. Biofuels Markets Mexico & Central America will provide an excellent opportunity to learn how, with the right legislative support, they can expand production and market share.

The Mexican ‘Biofuels Promotion and Development Law’ passed in 2008 pushes for the development of biofuels that do not threaten food security. Government representatives, speaking at this event, will highlight how foreign investment is encouraged under the new regulations and analyze the impact of a proposed blending mandate, which would create a national demand of up to 700 million gallons of ethanol.

With such exciting developments in the Mexican market, Mexico City will host this must attend event. Attend Biofuels Markets Mexico & Central America and learn about the key challenges and opportunities for biofuels development in the region, including sustainability concerns, feedstocks, financing and downstream considerations.

Biofuels Markets Mexico & Central America will take place alongside the conference Jatropha Markets Americas, taking place on the 8th-9th October.

La conferencia se desarrollará en inglés y español con traducción simultánea.
The conference will be translated simultaneously in Spanish and English.
